Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody - is there anyone who doesn't know this song?

Bohemian Rhapsody, a song which was recorded not only in one studio but in five; a song which was so difficult to record that it took three weeks just for rehearsal; a song which is so difficult to play that even Queen themselves mostly didn't play it completely when being on stage; a song which is so long that nobody (apart from Freddie Mercury himself) believed that it would ever get played on the radio and nevertheless was number one in just about all the charts of this world for weeks; a song which changed the face of popular music with a groundbreaking video and a song which is already more than 30 years old and still everybody knows it.

But have you ever really listened to the song? Do you know the lyrics? Do you know what it's telling us about?

I invite you to play this video and listen to the song. Close your eyes and let the song lead your phantasy and your thoughts....

What did you see? How did you feel? What does it make you think?

This song is a piece of art and as all other pieces of art it's designed to "play" with our mind, to let us discover a new, hidden piece of ourselves. What did you discover?

Queen themselves never revealed what they wanted to say with the song, in fact Freddie Mercury himself disliked analyzing his own material, and preferred listeners to construct their own interpretations. And this is exactly what I invite you to do.

Well, there was one interpretation from Queen, published in a leaflet in Persian but I don't want to spoil your phantasy with this. If you're really curious then look it up in the Wikipedia
