Germany - No space for the death penalty

Transporting three speakers from one town to the next is not always as simple as you might perhaps think:

The speakers packed lightly, they got promised that they would be able to wash their cloth every 4-5 days but 3 people still need a few things especially when one can't tell if in a period of close to 3 weeks it will rain or the sun will shine, if the temperatures will be close to 55° or close to 85°... But there still was a certain amount of luggage.

Plus broshures for several days which have to get transported, plus the one driving the car might need a few things as well. Plus 4 people have to fit in there as well

I do have a mid-size car, actually a lot of people over here in Germany might even consider it relatively large but fitting all this really is a problem:

Well, perhaps we could have fit a mouse into the trunk but definitely no more bags...

Ray who was sitting behind me and has really long legs, had about 10 inches space in between his seat and the back of my seat. Sometimes I was wondering if the blood circulation in his legs was still functioning.

Bags all over. Not only in the trunk but also in between Ray and Terri, on the speakers laps and on the floor in between their feet.
