Justice Matters!: A Rally to Save Troy Davis

Thursday, September 11, 2008, 6-8pm
on the capitol steps Atlanta, GA
Be there!

Time is running out. The prosecutors set Troy's execution date for September 23, 2008. The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles will conduct a hearing on Troy's clemency petition on September 12.

If we are going to save Troy, the time to act is now! We need everyone who can get to the State Capitol and who cares about Troy Davis' innocence to come out for this rally. We have the power to affect the outcome of this case and to save an innocent man's life! We need to join hands and stand strong in the face of this outrageous injustice. Please be there if you are able. We need you. Troy needs you.

Troy is scheduled to be executed by the state of Georgia on September 23, even though his serious claims of innocence have never been heard in court. You can read more about his case here.

We urgently need to get as many messages as we can to the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles by Thursday, September 11 to stop this travesty of justice.

Take action now! Send a letter to the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles and urge them to commute the death sentence of Troy Davis. Then, forward this action on to your friends!
